The Uncommon Music Festival is an annual chamber music festival in Sitka, Alaska dedicated to equitable, accessible, community-building classical music. Since 2016, we’ve collaborated with our community partners to present an uncommonly diverse array of concerts, workshops, and other events.
UMF is a project of Ariadne Lih and Nate Barnett.
What’s coming in 2024?
This summer, we’re continuing our years-long collaborative project with the University of Alaska Southeast Whale Lab, Conversations with Whales.
