Ariadne and Nate founded the Festival in 2016 and have been working together ever since. They collaborate closely on everything from programming to long-term planning. During the Festival, Ariadne sings soprano and manages, and Nate sings tenor and conducts.
Canadian soprano Ariadne Lih loves early music, contemporary music, opera, and women composers. She is also a writer, editor, and translator based in Montreal. Nate Barnett is a composer, conductor, and tenor in Philadelphia, PA. He co-directs live performance company Drip Symphony and sings with grammy-winning new music ensemble The Crossing.
